GOLDEN HOUR, THE CREATION BLOG
Inspiration comes to people in different ways. Whether it be thumbing through a magazine, experiencing a sweet moment, or even enjoying a pastime like television or radio.
For me personally when planning weddings, I find my inspiration through many things. However, for this day, my planning began with inspiration from the sun.
The color palette was lovingly referenced as “golden hour” and brought in the warm tones of sunset, paired with an intimate garden setting to really bring the vision to life.
When styling the day I really wanted it to feel luxurious and modern, yet give hints of romance and fantasy that the Regency Era had to offer. Florals to me scream romance, so for this day I truly wanted them to steal the show.
We designed a natural arch built from existing grapevines, at The Vintage Rose, to mimic vining wisteria, whilst pulling in golden yellows, oranges, and soft pinks to tie in our warm palette tones.
Our talented florist, Sawtooth Floral Co., then chose and styled stunning wholesale flowers, from Fifty Flowers, to create a show stopping sweetheart table with a lush floral runner as well as multiple lounge pieces provided by Rustique Rentals to bring our intimate ceremony space to life.
The couple was the focus of the day, so we created a few special pieces for them including personalized drinks, place settings, and charcuterie to enjoy with or without guests for a few moments “just them two”. All moments captured by the talented Jessica Roman Photograp
